Last night’s Project Therapy Night at Willow Health + Wellness was such a great evening, and I’m really grateful to everyone who joined us. We had about 15 people, and the vibe was relaxed, creative, and really supportive. Some people brought wine, others sipped tea, and everyone settled right in.
One thing I loved was that several people came alone and immediately connected with others at the table. It was an easy, comfortable group, and the energy felt really good.
We made trinket dishes out of oyster shells, and while the project wasn’t hard, I’d rate it as slightly more than “easy” next time. And yes… I probably should have had more than one blow dryer. Still, everyone made it work and created beautiful, clever pieces. I was impressed.
As a fun extra, we also sampled two kinds of energy bites. These are simple, whole-food recipes I use often, and both have Ayurvedic benefits — warming for digestion, grounding for steady energy, and uplifting for mood.
Below are the recipes in case you want to make them at home.

Cardamom–Orange Energy Bites
Grounding, bright, and good for digestion.
Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
¾ cup Medjool dates, pitted
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp ground cardamom
Zest of one orange
1 tsp orange juice
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: shredded coconut for rolling
Instructions
Blend dates into a paste in a food processor.
Add almond flour, coconut oil, cardamom, orange zest, orange juice, and salt.
Process until the dough comes together.
Roll into bite-sized balls.
Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
Ayurvedic note: Cardamom supports digestion and reduces bloating. Almond flour is grounding, and citrus zest is naturally uplifting.
Cranberry–Ginger Bliss Bites
Energizing, warming, and gently cleansing.
Ingredients
1 cup raw cashews (or almonds)
1 cup soft Medjool dates, pitted
⅓ cup dried cranberries
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (or ½ tsp dried ginger)
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp orange zest (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Pulse cashews in a food processor until finely crumbled.
Add dates, cranberries, ginger, cinnamon, orange zest, and salt.
Blend until the mixture starts to stick together.
Roll into small balls.
Chill for 20 minutes.
Ayurvedic note: Ginger and cinnamon warm the digestive system, dates help ground the body, and cranberries offer a gently cleansing quality.
Thank you again to everyone who came. I’m grateful for this community, and I love seeing people relax, connect, and create together.
