Carrot & Lemon - Ginger & Turmeric Mocktail

This mocktail is perfect for the spring season, when many people suffer from allergies and sinus issues.

In Ayurveda, carrots are considered a natural remedy for allergies due to their cleansing and detoxifying properties. Carrots are believed to help reduce the accumulation of toxins in the body, which is believed to be a root cause of many allergies.

The combination of carrots with these three other ingredients creates a powerful anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting drink that can help reduce inflammation in the body, ease congestion, and support overall wellness.

Carrot & Lemon - Ginger & Turmeric Mocktail


Gather all of your ingredients and lets get started!

  • 8 medium to small carrots

  • 1 lemon

  • 2" section of ginger root

  • 2" section of turmeric root

  • Sparkling water

  • Optional splash of apple cider vinegar (highly recommended!)

  • Optional honey & salt for rimming the glasses (also highly recommended!)

Directions Using a Juicer

Makes 2 servings

  1. Prepare glasses by salting the rims .

  2. Juice the carrots, ginger and turmeric roots.

  3. Squeeze the lemon into the juice mixture (or juice it along with the roots). Remember to save a slice for garnish.

  4. Add apple cider vinegar to the mixture for the benefits but also for that true cocktail taste.

  5. Pour mixture into shaker with ice.

  6. Strain into glasses and top of with sparkling water.

  7. Cut saved slice of lemon into halves and add garnish.

Directions Using a Blender

A juicer definitely makes this recipe easier but if you don't have a juicer, you can use a blender. In a blender, combine the chopped carrots, lemon juice, ginger & turmeric roots and water as needed to blend.

  1. Blend everything together until smooth.

  2. Taste the mocktail and adjust the consistency to your liking. If it's too thick, you can add more water to thin it out.

This mocktail is not only delicious, but also packed with health benefits. Here's why:
