What Is Your Body Type?
Learn what makes you unique! Ayurveda refers to body types as DOSHA. Understanding your Dosha is the first step in knowing what foods, exercise and lifestyle, in general, will keep you feeling balanced and energetic.
There are three Doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Each Dosha is determined by your unique blend of physical, mental and emotional characteristics. Take the quiz below to find out what your predominate Dosha is. Each person typically has one Dosha that stands out with another as a close second. If you score highest on Vata with Pitta being second- then your Dosha is said to be Vata-Pitta. Occasionally one will stand out way more than the others and very rarely will all three score about the same.
This is a very basic Dosha quiz. Ayurveda has developed a time-proven method of accurately assessing individuals. As an ayurvedic practitioner, I can do a detailed Doshic evaluation, as well as a complete Ayurvedic assessment, and carefully listen to your answers to determine if there are any physical, mental or emotional imbalances that may be affecting your digestion, energy, weight, mood, etc.
