Challenge #9: Stop Eating by 8 PM

Yikes! It's the end of the month and I still have two challenges for you. I'm sorry I didn't quite meet my own expectations for the Mini-May Challenges (or possibly yours) but I hope you've picked up some good tips. No excuses, we can do a couple of more- let's get cracking!


Challenge No. 9- stop eating by 8 PM each night. This is similar to the not eating between meals. The idea is to give your gut a rest! Let's assume you sleep until 6 AM- that's a 10 hour rest if you stopped eating at 8 PM! If you only have water, tea or black coffee in the morning, you will stay in a fasted state even longer (which by the way has a ton of benefits- see video link below)!


Don't buy into the breakfast is the most important meal of the day message or that you have to eat as soon as you wake up. All meals are important, including how you BREAK your FAST. There's no set time for that but if you can give yourself at least 12 hours of fasting, you'll be doing your body good. That is called intermittent fasting.
